Scrap Packs For Collage Art
I make a lot of cyanotypes. Like, a LOT. I'd also amassed a huge amount of printed papers and the paper plates leftover from paper lithography. I also have a bunch of random paper ephemera like stamps and old books and bus tickets. So I packed them all up into 50g and 100g packages (just easier to go by weight vs pieces) for collages and put them up for sale in the Etsy shop. There's so much good stuff in there, and artists who've bought them are just killing it with their amazing work! Visit those artist's profiles on Instagram-- @jreid1031, @denisecerro, and @laffindesign. If you're an artist using my papers, please do tag me! I just love seeing the wild creativity of the artists!
I admit to being rather tickled by seeing how different my packages are against all the other sellers on Etsy! Also....they need to raise their prices and I need to raise mine a little, because there's some seriously good papers in there that were handmade by me...and not overnight.
These have been astonishingly good sellers-- to the point where I'm thinking I might have to start printing more just for the packs! I'm kidding.....kinda. I've been thinking about making scrap packs from cyanotypes alone, which would be fun. So many ideas!
